Evaluation and Development Camp for the U18 USA Ball Hockey Team
Join us for the upcoming Evaluation and Development Camp for the U18 USA Ball Hockey Team, taking place from November 30th to December 1st at The Hockey Dek in Springfield, PA (1440 Wallingford Road, Springfield, PA).
Team USA U18s will be competing in the ISBHF Junior World Championships overseas in the summer of 2026, looking to top their most recent Silver medal this past summer in Zilina, Slovakia.
Why Start So Early?
Head Coach Eddie Costa emphasizes the importance of getting a head start as a team: “I think we need to teach our players the game. Not just teaching them the how but the why. That takes time, and being separated by many miles, we need even more time to get camps in. There is no such thing as early to guys like Brady, Kobe, and Ronaldo; it’s always the right time to work hard,” he explains.
Will your team be picked in November?
“No, we will hold 2-3 mini camps from now until next summer. That being said, the guys who attend have a huge advantage to make the team. If two players are close in talent, but one has an understanding of our system and we know the person behind the player, it will be a factor.”
What to Expect at the Camp
This camp is designed to provide players with a comprehensive understanding of the sport. Players will participate in skill-building drills, team strategies, and game scenarios, focusing on both technical skills and the underlying principles of ball hockey.
