USA Ball Hockey is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing the game of ball hockey in the United States.

All positions in the organization are currently volunteer, unpaid positions, from interns all the way up to the President.

USA Ball Hockey relies upon the dedication and passion of volunteer employees to continue evolving the sport of ball hockey and supporting our communities. OPEN POSITIONS:

The primary objective of the Women’s Development Director is to increase participation in the sport by fostering growth in established markets, emerging areas, and new regions. Reporting directly to the Director of Hockey Operations, the role focuses on both macro and micro-level goals to elevate women’s involvement in ball hockey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing protocols and procedures for this newly created role.
  • Building a team to support initiatives while working collaboratively with USA Ball Hockey’s board.
  • Acting as a liaison between players, parents, leagues, and international organizations.
  • Organizing and promoting development camps to introduce the sport to new participants.
  • Assisting leagues in creating or enhancing women’s divisions and increasing membership.

In addition, the Women’s Development Director will play a key role in talent acquisition, serve as a representative at major events like the Future Stars tournament, and work closely with league and tournament directors to promote growth and participation.

USA Ball Hockey is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to assist in growing our digital presence and engaging our community across various platforms. As part of our media team, you will collaborate directly with the Director of Digital Marketing and Media to execute strategies that enhance brand awareness, promote events, and connect with fans of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build community.
  • Monitor social media trends and analytics, providing insights to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Support the development of campaigns for upcoming tournaments, events, and initiatives.
  • Maintain the organization’s voice and branding across all communications.
  • Opportunity for subsidized domestic and international travel to tournaments.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in social media management and digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of major social media platforms and trends.

Working closely with the Director of Digital Marketing and Media, you will gain hands-on experience with email marketing, website management, and digital advertising strategies that support our mission and engage our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting, editing, and scheduling email campaigns to communicate with members and fans.
  • Help maintain and update the USA Ball Hockey website, ensuring content is current and engaging.
  • Monitor and analyze website and email performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.

USA Ball Hockey is seeking photographers to join our national network! This role offers travel opportunities to capture the action at our tournaments and events. Minimal experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various locations for tournaments and events.
  • Capture high-quality action shots, player portraits, and team moments.
  • Work closely with the media team to ensure content aligns with branding and event objectives.
  • Submit photos in a timely manner for use across digital platforms and publications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience shooting sports or fast-paced events.
  • Passion for ball hockey or sports in general is a plus.
