U20 Women’s National Team Announcement
Welcome back to the bench, Taylor Steadman!
Steadman took the reins as head coach of the U21 Women’s National Team bench only a few months before the 2023 team left for the @isbhf World Championships. Steady was a positive role model to the women who competed in Europe and helped to bring a band of gals together as a family quickly while maintaining positive growth in good competition all week long on the rink.
Steadman played on the USA Women’s Ball Hockey Team in 2017, 2019 and is currently a member of the 2024 squad that’s heading to Switzerland in June.
Ball hockey isn’t the only version of hockey Steadman has a resume in. She has been skating since she was old enough to walk. She began her collegiate ice hockey career at Elmira College where, in her freshman year, she led her team to win the National Championship by scoring the only goal in a 1-0 game. The next three years, she played for Castleton University where she received numerous athletic awards including a two time winner of the Spartan award. She was a First Team All-Conference Forward award recipient from the New England Hockey Conference and an All-Star Forward award recipient from the New England Hockey Writers Association. Most recently, she was inducted into Castleton University’s first all decade team. During college, she spent her summers coaching hockey camps including but not limited to the New England Development Camp, USA National Camp, Pro Ambitions Camps, Green Mountain Camp, and more.
Taylor loves the game of hockey and one of her greatest passions is teaching!
