USA Womens vs Switzerland
In their second game of the tournament, the women’s team would establish themselves as one of the strongest teams in the tournament with a 6-0 win over Switzerland.
The offense was led by an explosive start with an early goal by Alexandra Vakos, setting the tone for the game. They dominated their opponents, outshooting them by over 40 shots.
Emma Seitz scored her first goal with a skillful dangle, followed by an assist to Lisa Kilroy. In the second period, Maddy Evangelous scored with a top-shelf shot assisted by Hannah Lindey.
